Better colors in the new one, but I think the sky is too blue now..

What do you mean with "The AA is strange because it's a reduction" reduction=scaled down or?

yeah, the sky is way too blue/dark for the kinda light that's coming through.....you need to take that down - desaturate the map or something....brighten it up.

also the blured person on the right : quite distracting...that's the first thing i looked at trying to figure out what it was at first - detracts from the over all great scene IMO.

can you tell us about your lighting setup??

I'd say maybe keep any people from being too close to the camera because it'll distract from the over-all structure and feel.

PS. The AA is strange because it's a reduction
Interesting you bring that up because yesterday I reduced an image to send via email and the AA quality dropped for some reason. Very strange.

yeah, i get the same thing. what he means suurland, is that say the original res was 1600x1200, in ps7 he reduced the image size to say 800x600, the AA gets all messed up.

mzmeskal : the setting for my glass is shared higher in the post (1)

In my opinion, the AA changes for the pixel does not arrive to itself "to divide" by two and does therefore stairways, it would be necessary therefore to add a blur one I think.

                thanks for reply

PS this image is only for fun. The project will be done in 2004, but with other materials. As we liked the volume but by the materials, we dressed it to our manner. (image http://www.architecture-design.ch/pa...ab_int_01.html)

I don't get it. Why would resizing a picture mess upp the AA? Did you resize it with "nearest neighbour" or "bicubic" ?

I don't get it either.. Scaling down can give problems if you go from a very big res to low res, PS something fucks it up, but if I scale in a few steps, then there is no problems.

                      Great images Vince!
Only thing I can comment is that the Mies chairs & ottoman are the wrong scale, the right measures you can find here:

                        Yeah indeed.

Also if you have a 1600*1200 img and you want it 700*525, scale it down to 800*600 first, and then to 700*525. (first scale by 1/2 or 1/4 or 1/8 etc...) Don't know why this happens, but I use this technique quite a lot.

No sweat, only my reply is a bit too late maybe, since you made the final render already...
