Area is reasonable on video work to smooth out a bit.. but for stills most people reccommend either the Catmull Rom (Sharper edges, *hard* to keep smooth AA with in animation) or Mitchell Natriavelli (good balance..)

Did yo utry another filter? I think there must be something else wrong, because the image is very blurry. Did you do any postprocessing maybe that messed up the image?

That's a lot better, the rest of the blurriness is caused by jpg artifacts. Maybe save in a bit higher quality, look at the bottom text how distorted it looks.

as someone mentioned...the bed still looks long for the room size..and the floor pattern does'nt seem to really go well (some place on the left the tiles look square and some places as rectangles..maybe its cause of the perspective but you still need to balance it)...the lighting is nice but the composition is still missing something.
anyways keep up the good work mate

Its missing a focus.. everything is pushing the eye over to the wood side of the cabinet on the wallMabye a couple accent downlights on the shelves and some various 'things' on them would bring it back into shape..
Also any time the sun is going to be coming at that low of an angle its going to be either sunset or sunrise.. which pushes light to a reddish color for sunset or a yellowish/gold for sunrise..
Little things like where would the light come from at night.. where is the huge amount of light come from the right hand side coming from.. who really wants giant windows going into their bedroom with no alternate privacy.. little things
Not sure how much leeway you have in the project.. but some thoughts.. keep it going !Dave Buchhofer. // Vsaiwrk

Heres the final render I have time to do which has a new lighting scheme in it - skylight rather than a direct light. Don't really have anymore time to work on it. I'll either go with this one or the previous one. What do you think?

I like the scene very much. The Catmull Rom helped a lot. I would only comment on the top edge at the foot of the bed, it looks a little sharp. By softening this edge in your modelling (possibly the mattress under the blanket) it might relieve the room a little more. The edge is the first thing that catches my attention.
Good lighting.

This scene would be great if you could get a handle on the lighting. Right now it seems like there is ahuge wall missing behind the camera's position, generating lots of light in front of the bed. Perhaps, some more diretional light through the windows and some interior downlights or some turned-on lamps would do the trick. It feels like you either have to pan left and turn the camera right or pan right and turn left. Try a differnet viewpoint perhaps?
