attached are 3 more images from different projects ,2 day shots (one overcast the other summer sun) and 1 night shot.Again these have been heavily post processed. The stone on the summer shot dosen't really work so I will have to revisit that one.
These are great David - I think I've seen the first one somewhere else before. The last night shot is my favourite, even though the wall texture tiling is pretty evident. The cats a great touch!
dividh , very nice ext render , 1st image very very nice, can you send me your visopt and explain your nice lighting ( have you used hdri in GI or not)
my e-mail / robert111@live.fr
For the overcast image I will use a light grey/blue colour in the "GI/Skylight"environment map,and white/light grey colour in background with default lights off under "Global Switches".
This removes all sharp shadows.I would then place a background in photoshop after rendering out with an alpha channel. It is important that the background image colour matches the original environment colour as close as possible.
The reason I dont place the background image in Vray is that I cant usually get it exactly where I want it.
for the bright sun image I used the basic vray sun in environment and background.I have gathered together a lot of textures and materials and sky backgrounds over the years and it is basically a standard bright daylight shot.
The night shot is different again.
Again I turn default lights off under "Global Switches".I will use an image in the "GI/Skylight"environment map,and the same image in background.I am not worried that the background image does not map properly as again I render with an alpha channel and place the image correctly in photoshop.
Below is the background image for a typical night shot and my visopt settings for the night shot.I hope this helps
Excellent Job. I want to ask about the plantation & flowers in the 2nd image, are they 3D models or what.
The sky colour in the 2nd image is not that realistic;however, good job. Go ahead

Hi davidh:
Can you explain in more detail, step by step how you can render with alpha map and the process post in PH plus the correct settings for the night, I really looking to understand this settings for a Night shot.
Thanks...
The best that I can do is keep learning, and the Renderings are just a small step to get real.
