Personal projects (Sci-fi and Fantasy)

Hi everyone,

I have been following all the threads and seeing some awesome renders coming out of this forum.

I finally have time to work on personal projects and would like to share some of the images.

This was my submission for the NVArt Challenge. I did not win anything, but it was really fun and a great learning experience to improve my Sketchup modeling and Vray rendering skills.

Modeled in Sketchup and rendered with Vray / HDRI.



















Here's something else I have been working on the past month, spending a few hours each night whenever I don't have to soothe my little princess back to bed.

It's work in progress and I hope I will finish it someday.

Ken: about renders i think they can be better, but nice anyway, but about the modelling....WHAT!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!?????!!!! you and silvershadow are the best modelers of sketchup ive ever seen, you just model like if you did this in 3dmax, modelling is beyong awsomeness hehehe...you have a fan here, with your crazy modelling skills bro, amazing

This is some amazing Sh*t.... You really made this with sketchup? how did you do all those nice curves. It really does look amazing!

Like the developers of Sketchup said you can visualise anything with sketchup... and so you did.

incredibly awesome.... do u mind sharing a video of WIP of your models...?? OMG I cant believe somebody can make such model in SU. This is really inspiring for newbie like me. Great work. Keep posting. thnx.
