this is the finished version of that 1st project i did. boy what a pain in the butt this was to finish.

i personally would prefer to stay away from photo additions of people. they NEVER look right. im checking the feasability of getting poser. i know most 3d people hate poser. but hey. its a quick way to get 3d people.
as for the cars. not RPC cars. they are free models you can find on the net

however i do agree w/ Junglejuz about the toy-like look - it's missing some variation in the testures on the walls and asphalt - at the same time I know well how clients are about this things - they want it to look pristine/clean as it will never be....so it's a hard balance...
A lot of times if I like my rendering I'll do two copies/versions - one crisp and clean for the client and another more realistic w/ grime/dirt for myself.
as for poser - I've been using it for a while and under certain circumstances it's good for arch viz:
if the people are fairly faraway for example...
the advantage is that they cast correct shadows and look halfway decent if far enough.
Stay away from closeups with poser people....
hate to point out the obvious. but i simply turned on motion blur. just used the default settings on motion blur as well
