    Re: Bathroom

    Hello,

Nice setting, clean and sharp. It has a very masculine feel. Love the flooring and the choice of colours and materials.

I think the concrete wall (if it is concrete) is too smooth and glossy and those spotlight reflections on it don't feel exactly right, but I'm a junior in Vray, so I might be wrong.

Composition-wise the image is a little unbalanced, the left side has too little details so it looks a bit flat and unfinished. Also you probably should have made the room smaller, I can guess the proportions by the reflection of the shower and the there's too much empty space in the middle.

But I like the overall feeling, so keep up the good work!

The wall that you refer is kind of gray marble.....and yes this is to big for a bathroom, but I only do for un job experience.

      Thanks for the tips

            Re: Bathroom

            Hey there,
            it's a comfy mood you've created - well done!

If you're up for improvements, here are my two cents:
            - I agree with iamiri: on the left side you could add some more details. I suggest you put some background in - having a nice panoramic HDRI that you can see through the window will increase what I'd call "real feel". Even when using frosted glass, you'd get a slight indication of what's behind. In addition, you could insert some decoration (driftwood on the windowsill, a vase with some branches or twigs, a picture, a bottle with essential oil and some straws or the like).
            - Great attention to few details really makes this one complete. You could put some typical sanitary products on the shelf and in the cups/containers: toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel (eg. on the floor next to the shower, so that you can only see it through the mirror), towels. But not too many!
            - Let the toilet paper hang down a bit, give it a little twist and some texture bumps to make it look real!
            - In the real world, furniture isn't always placed perfectly aligned - copy that in your scene!
            - As already said, the highlights don't look perfectly right.
            - The bench could use a better metal material for its feet, as well as a little more illumination.
            - The "kind of grey marble" shouldn't repeat, maybe you could alter the texture in Photoshop.
            - What kind of material should the white wall be made of? If it's plastered, show it with some noise (very low multiplier) in the bump or displacement channel!
            - Use depth of field to blur the reflexions in the mirror a bit.
            - Increase subdivs on blurry reflecting materials (esp. floortiles) and/or in the options menu.

Don't worry, your scene looks pretty decent already!

            Cheers,
            Matt
