i like the second one. but i think you could improve it if you increase hdri multiplier in the gi. or maybe start turning some of the interior lights on
Attached is a version with internal lights added.
Arqestevez1,I tried increasing the hdri but it ended up washing out the internal lights too much so here I actually reduced the multiplier to 0.5
hey bro, i hope you don't mind. i just think that your render has a lot of potential, so i tried to improve it with photoshop.... really terrific work you've done.
David these are looking really good. I love the lighting adjustments you guys have made - they made the images much better and I'm so glad you fixed the driveway apron. When I saw the first image I just kept focusing on the front-end alignments those nice VWs would soon need.
The one thing that still catches my eye is the dark trim materials, this is a problem in a lot of renderings both digital and traditionally painted. If there was some way to change the value or saturation it moght give more variety from one plane and direction to another. Its so dense that it's hard to get a sense of the seperation of each plane.
attached is a wet day of the same scene.
justlookin,
I applied a soft reflection to the black areas you were talking about and I think this helps to seperate the elements.
I will have to revise the angled kerb later as it is too sharp.
(regarding the wet effect, all materials have a reflection layer with a Highlight glossiness of 0.7 and a Reflection Glossiness Of 0.8.also all bump maps have been increased from 0.3 multiplier to 0.5.all planting has been darkened with saturation slightly increased )
You have to work in the interior lights a little bit more, try to make the same effect like the window upstairs, downstairs look not real and I will reduce the amount of light also....Have too much...
The best that I can do is keep learning, and the Renderings are just a small step to get real.
