      Re: jakub's gallery_architectural renderings

hi maciek, i used combination of HDRI and Vray_sun. and the grass was a texture. I used micha's tip http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?topic=2320.0 , but some post processing in photoshop was still needed.

              thanks for the comments

arqestevez1 the texture for the grass was my own, it wasn't photoshoped, i used micha's environment mapping tip.

What tip do you refers to?
That post is about environment textures, am i losing something?

                    Re: jakub's gallery_architectural renderings

it is about environmental mapping for the grass. normally, when you would apply a plain grass texture in vray it would look unrealistic, but when you used the right image (as for example the one in micha's post) with the environment mapping you would get good looking grass with a little effort, no displacement or photoshoping needed. but this kind of method doesn't work in the new builds.

Overall, the work is very strong, well-lit, nicely modeled, and I especially like the compositions with people, tree, etc.

One minor detail that caught my architectural eye is the lack of expansion joints in your exterior materials. Whether it's stone, concrete, or plaster, you will see expansion or panel joints. In one view, you show a three-story wall that look like its only one piece. That's minor ... and totally OK if the client wanted it that way. If it's your design, it might be noticed or questioned in a job interview...
