regarding noise, on opening the scene again, I remembered that I did up the subdivs for the white walls to 32 and the concrete floor to 64

That´s exactly how i am avoiding noise now. I change the reflection/glossy materials such as metals, wood floors to 32/64 subdivs and it works fine, normal speed if i dont use DMC over 1-8. If i go over that it drastically increases render times, rly a lot.

Thanks Peter, will take a look.

About your macpro, sure you use windows on it? Some people say its not advisable - Simonhc - and i wonder why, so what are the cons (if any) of using Macpro with windows for archviz using 3dsmax?

      Cheers and congratz once again,

It's deserved. I have shared a link to your flickr set on this project with several of my colleagues. They were all highly impressed with your work. These images really stand on their own not just as visualizations, but as art...I could honestly see these on display somewhere in a gallery.

Let me know if you ever decide to start selling prints, I could use one in my workspace for inspiration
