WOW! Excellent Love all the detail, the only thing that detracts is the wood texture on the cabinets specificaly the way it repeats on the drawers and the grain should run the other direction, that and the AA on the edge of the sink ( maybe a smoothing problem). again very realistic.

yes you are right about the wood hmmmm i always seems to forget that part will change it and as for the AA this is not how the edges lookt like after the render i have put a sharpen filter on the final img it came out much clearer that way i will see what to do about that.

AA two level 2/5 irr-map high preset for second bounce i used photonmap
i have to say tough that the image came out quiet dark so i did some brightnes/contrast correction in photoshop.
one vray light + enviroment and one target direct.
render time don't remember didn't use the counter.

                      very nice..

I'll second the thought that you should put a little more time into adding some variations to the wood.. would finish it up nicely

                        Dear Spirit1,

I believe there is nothing wrong with the textures, kitchen cabinets are made of MDF ,with a veneer coating,so its normal to some repitition of textures, specially on drawers.

it took me about six days to finish and there are 279,951 faces in the scene.
Thank you all for your nice comments!

i will post an update soon with some corrections.

OK, its obviously a great image with clever attention to detail,

                            BUT...

                            why a drab old kitchen?
