    Hello Everyone,

    Another project from me.
I finished this project last month but after that I had long time to decide about the Minotti. Actually the first build had the cream color but then I choose to have red. The Wassily chair is from Bertrand.
All the books are modeled and placed one by one manually - But it was very fun to see my bookcase getting full with many books
All your feedback is always welcome.
    Cheers !

You see now, I'm not sure if I should be inspired or depressed
    EXCELLENT JOB!
    11 out of 10

(hmmm although wouldnt the chair and table have some kind of small rubbery feet so its not just the metal on the timber floor like that?)
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

some serious work there, it's a beautiful set of images. I think the details on the furniture with the shallow dof are the ones I like the most.

The best, of the best! is it a personal project, or were you commissioned to do them? You must have a tone of hours into these.

Only thing I don't like about it is the wood on the room darkening everything else, but that's a design choice and nothing to do with the quality of your rendering. It's fabulous looking, there's been a real step up in the quality of images since Alex roman led the charge, you're up there now too with peter guthrie and bertrand benoit. Well done sir.

Edit - actually one crit, it's a tiny bit too sharp and grainy. Would love to see it rendered with the quadratic filter or even blurred a tiny bit.

It is hard to know how long it took because I made it only in my free time. The main scene took around around 30 hours (2-3hours/day/week) but then I sent to Matt Guetta for some crits and after his crits, it took about 10days ONLY to decide on the color of Minotti Of course I was not working on the scene but trying to decide.

Thank you so much!!!! This was a personal work. Actually it is not too much time in this. The part that took the most time was making bookcase- It is not hard but it is 100% hand work. And the second part that takes much time was setting up the cameras and making renders.

Thank you. Final shot is a dawn lighting I thought I need one light rig full of contrast.

Thank you for the crit. In my future work, I will try this filter. Sometimes I like the blurred filters like Area too but sometimes they make me feel they loose detail. I think when you start with a sharp filter, it is hard to pass to a blury filter. I will definately will try your advice.

great stuff Pixela! all the nice words have been said already...nothing nicer to add ))

                        one crit:
the ceiling boards are way too short in my opinion and in my eye they the image down a bit design wise....but thats just a question of taste

Wow, beautiful images and excellent work! My jaw dropped open a bit.
If I had a crit at all, it would be the ceiling...I just never see wood ceilings installed just like a hardwood floor.
Anyway, super job and thanks for showing these!
