Hi,
just finished a couple of illustrations of my brothers new house. Its not my design, i was just helping out with the renders. The house has two very different sides, the outer has a very traditional swedish countryhouse-style with its standing red boards and smallish windows, and the inner side is abit more modern with larger windows and horisontal larchboards etc.
The surroundings were diffucult for me. The house is at the top of a long slope, so you see a really long way from there = a lot of modelling... I ended up doing the surrondings very basic and then using vray fog and a bit of dof to make it blend in better. If it was summer I would definetly have done photomontages instead, but november is the ugliest month in sweden so photographing wasnt an option
Ran out of time now, but I will continue to work on these and probably more views of this project for my portfolio, so crits, comments and suggestions are very welcome.
