  • WIP street.

HI to all. This is my latest image on vray. It's not finished yet, but when I modify something parts in scene it will be finish.
I have to say that the floor I will take off the bump, it's an error that I dont remember to take off on this render. There are artifacts that i have to repair and something more errors.

Well I will agree some comments in this wip scene. thanks.

maybe I find something out of scale (eg: the adress n°), but not sure...

Looks nice, although the sunlight is a bit too bright and white in my humble opinion. I'd suggest to make it a bit yellowish.

Is it me or does Spain and Portugal seem to bring forth a lot of talented architectural 3D guys? It's like Gaudi has inspired two whole countries.

thanks. Well the 'adress' or 'numbre 4' its in its right scale. This image is inspired on a old city on spain. and the number is correct.

Yes, the sun needs a yellow tone, I forget it . thanks

The wall texture looks great but I think it could do with a bit more bump or displacement. Where you can see the edge of the wall on the right it seem a bit to clean and flat.
Otherwise a very nice looking image.

scale looks wrong. check your camera FOV.
              add a nice sky.
              Reflect, repent and reboot.
              Order shall return.

                Hi notoiara,

I agree with former comments, about the scale feel, may be is the masonry that gives this strage scale feeling, any way, they need some either bump or even better displacement, as also has been suggested.

Other than that image coming along nicely, perhaps a human figure might help setting the scale thing down.

May I ask which city? the stonework color would suggest somewhere at the Pirinees, but then the tiles don't fit.

                salut

BTW, Metin, I'd have blamed the nederlands to provide an huge amount of talented CG people, and would have pointed the tradition of painters as the culprit :P :P :P

well yes, needs a bit more displacemenet, but i have problems with too much displacement and the renders looks bad. I test better displacement in future scenes.

The city is rupit, is inspired on a photo that I take in that city.

                    Hi notoiara,

                    Rupit makes lot of sense

Bit more light would help your secene IMO, also changing the background dull bluish gray, to a lighter color, almost white, will immediatly change your image (again IMO).

Next the deatils, sucha as the shawo of the wooden planks on the wall ( I thought first the were embeded in the wall), and in general stronger shadows in the GI area...

Ah, and you forgot the catalan flag in the balcony
