  • Ecco biom shoe

    Here's what I did recently.
GONG agency (www.gong.pl) created web application for ECCO to show their new shoe.
I was responsible to create the 3d shoe. I was supplied with CAD model so there was required quite a bit of cleaning and I basically redo the thing in in Zbrush (all tiny holes etc). The rest was textures, materials and lighting. I also made animation of shoe rotating and splitting into pieces and points showing.

    Hope you like it:

At http://biom.ecco.com/ click explore the shoe to see the presentation:

    or directly to the application:

                Really nice job Luke!

Did you retopologise over the CAD data? I recently had to model a couple of trainers for a project and they are a huge headache!

You haven't done any work on the green bit? That mesh is strictly cad?

Yes mesh is cad but actually there were also changes on it but I was able to do it without doing retopo or even zbrushing it.
