I can't see why modelling the towels would be so hard. Try to offset a distorted helix. Fool around with vertices a bit: FFD, bend, noise etc, and bevel. Didn't try, but I can't see a reason why it should not work.
Maybe Richard has a different approach, but who hasn't.

How did you do the grass in the first image between the curb and the sidewalk? Is it a plugin? And what about the bushes! How did you do those?

That's exactly what I did, with a simple noise like displacement map.
The bushes are a simple object with noise then a Displacement map, the grass is simple displaced noise. There are lots of tuts on this site for making grass etc, it's very simple.

          HI rhino

          HI richard

Congratulations for your images very nice as always!!

I remember your interiors works with Final Render and now I see you've used Vray for thiese...

I would ask u what do u think about this two rendering engines and wich usage do u do of each one I mean for wich kind of works u use one or the other

what would u want better in vray for the 1.1 version?
          What u dislike of vray?

and would u want better in FR?
          What u dislike in fr?

I hope to not offend anyone with this questions I mean the fans of each renderering engines

          Excuse my bad english

          bye and thanks in advance
