Here is the material for the main material. But don't except to see any fancy tricks, it's a quite standard material.

Beside the material the scene contains a single vray light and some white cards.

      Thanks!

could this material be made entirely within a vraymtl?

Why did you choose to make it out of a standard material with a vray map?

          ahh ok...makes sense

I have recreated the material following your screencaps. and my material looks alot darker in the material editor, and doesnt look quite the same in a render.

I will post a screen cap in a sec

The reason your preview is darker is because I use "reflection/refraction etc environment" and my color is set to grey, and yours is set to black. I don't use the color though, I use a very dark blue bitmap instead with a few brighter spots.

Supurb work Thomas. The renderings breath out that the product is of high quality. Your client must be happy Nice solution you found there for the reflective material.

                    Hi!

                    I´m a bit confused here...

when you say "reflection/refraction etc environment", what exactly are you talking about?

                    Thanks!

under the enviornment section in the render dialog there is an option to overide Max's defualt enviornment for both lighting (skylight) and reflection/refraction.

Reflective materials are only as good as the enviornment they reside in.

                        Absolutly beautiful!!

I really admire your ability to set up such awesome reflection environment!
                        Again: great work!

I guess there is no chance to see a printscreen of your light setup?

                        cheers
