        10x for the crits guys
th settings're nothing special.just one direct light(4000 subdiv) and some skylights(800 subdiv) on the windows with nearly white environment...

g_caio,if you're refering to the wall texture it isn't actually a marble-it's a patined sheet metal but it seems it doesn't look like metal

mmm....nice stuff but IMO it needs some refinement....There's no shadows projected in the corner between light structure and celing (Image2)...i Think that your custom setting on therosholds are too focuse on speed vs quality!
Also the B&O Multi-CD player is out of scale! Is too high don't you think?...
BTW the gres ond the floor is good, not so the wood. This kind of wood generally has natural finish, so there's high specularity and reflection on it...
          Ciao

            hi lolyghost,
I guess I need very high shadow settings in order to get those shadows more distinctive.but anyway you're right-my focus is more on speed than quality.
about the B&O stuff.I haven't got any of these wonders in my place so I've made them from a picture and may be I'm a bit out of scale now.could you tell me the exact height of this CD player?
about the wooden floor..hmmm...I believe there're a lot of different finishes so the look of the wood(especially the amount of the reflection) changes...and as a matter of fact I really don't like the classic raytrace mirror like reflections
            thanx for the comments!
            cheers
