Yikes! You're working too much Bobby. Skateboarding is as big as it ever was.

Cool, but I too would like to know which method did you use? I never got the hang on of unwrapping.

Nice details. However the whole model looks kinda low poly. Textures as well look lo res. Is it meant to be a game model?

Anyway, a few weeks back I modeled a skateboard too. Coincidence huh?

                  Hey,

I uv mapped in headus uv and textured mostly in zbrush. I took photos of the skateboard with an iphone then used the lightbox in zbrush to spray the photos onto the surface. UI went through with poly paint and re-enforced certain areas and made sure all the uv seams were covered. Then I went in photoshop and clone stampped the areas I had trouble reaching in zbrush like some parts under the trucks. I am going to update the pics here in a sec as I did this for a composite a studio recruiter wanted to see.

Niles ur skateboard looks dope! Its cool to see one that looks brand new and ready to skate on and then you have mine that has been thrown into the ground a few hundred times in frustration lol.
I agree, it probably could use one more turbo smooth as I can see the poly edges in parts of the trucks and wheels. Thx for the feedback everyone!
