  • Need help finding four season's post

Some time ago someone posted an exterior of a two story glass living space in four seasons. I want to show those images to my boss to give him an idea of what a "next level" rendering looks like. Can someone help me find them? Thanks. -Craig

I love that image, or series of images, but I wouldn't show them to your boss. I don't think they are realistic in production. The number of hours invested are huge. Most of the "best" stuff are people's personal project, done over many months. This is my perception, at least

I don't agree with this at all. As good as they are that kind of quality is nowhere near unrealistic for production.

in my world it's not realistic. How many hours do you think goes into that level of realism? He did the image to study seasons, which implies to me, it was a personal project. I guess for archvis it's not realistic. For an IKEA spread, it might be viable, but not for most architectural offices. I could be dead wrong - just my opinion.

at most, a full weeks work for the intital setup, another few days for lighting & post on all 4.

people dont spend 50 hour weeks on personal work.

Oops! I guess I assumes it was a guy. There was one girl, who I was a fan of, but she hasn't been around for years. Her screen name was something like giraffe

I guess it's all relative. 50 hours, for a corner of a house, is a dream. I do like her little fishy, in the bottom right corner

so, would say it was a $2,500 image?

double that and take into account more time if a client is involved. hard to say what to charge for a personal image because cost is more about the process - i was simply talking about how long it would take to produce.

A full weeks work and a few days. Then also more time to deal with a client and work on something with potential changes.
