One thing I find in a lot of the images that you render is that the exposure seems to be constantly biased towards the sky, rather than the subject of the photo itself which is the building. I could be getting it totally wrong that they're constructed of very dark woods and those values are quite realistic, but I'd much rather seem the sky being burnt out in favour of getting details in the building instead. At the minute it's quite shadowy and especially for a church, it doesn't seem that inviting to me. There's a lot of artificial light in this shot for example, but it helps bring out a lot more information in the building itself:

The background trees look awesome, but the foreground shurbs are super flat and dull. Some reflection, and less saturation would do them wonders.
I thought you were doing a church for your bro, Bono from u2Dusan Bosnjak

Like joconnell's excellent reference image, try putting in some orange interior lights Bobby, I think it might help with getting a nice inviting warm image and also draw the eye to the main entrance of the building. At the moment the focal point of the image, to me, is actually the junction of the roof in the middle of the image. Maybe a combination of the lights and adjusting the horizon level will help alleviate this.

Yep - definitely prefer it brighter, but did you do the changes in photoshop rather than brightening in 3d and re-rendering? I still the the best thing you can do for your images is buy a cheap SLR and start taking photos of actual architecture in various light setups as a guide for how lights and materials react in different exposures. Your work has come on amazingly over the past few years and you're one of the best examples of what you can get from feedback on this forum, I just feel that sometimes the balance between light source and subject is a bit off in your image.
Also on a side note I hear you about being drawn to dark, rich materials but I'm on the totally opposite side! - I love bright, open and airy spaces rather than more traditional, craft style housing so my feedback is likely always coming from a totally opposed personal taste
