I always enjoy posting here, but I never really know what to expect. I thought you guys would say it was way to dark, dirty, and scary. Anyway, I am glad you like it. I'll Google the Sopranos.Bobby Parker

I'd probably try to grade it towards blue, and as suggested above would try a much brighter and warmer interior. that should give it a nice, vivid contrast. the image as it is a very good starting point though, and I can imagine getting even better with some minor work on the colour tones.

Maybe a bit much on the wall but I agree on the windows. If you're shooting a house outside at night, there's so little light outside with the sun down by comparison to the brightness of the rooms inside the windows, the inside of the house is almost slightly burnt out. I can't remember what it was in, but I read a comment about an animator working for disney back in the cel animation days, and he was always afraid to push his movements too far. His supervisor liked the stuff he did a lot, but it was never extreme enough. The supervisor eventually told his animator, push it so far you think it'll annoy me, then it's probably enough!
What snivlem's done there makes a big difference to me - your version is quite pastel, chalky and "dreamy" looking. Snivlem's version has a higher contrast ratio which I feel is more realistic. It's a great sign that he only needed to do a bit of photoshop balancing on the image though, it was all there form the start.

BTW, what program do you use to model your houses, they are always very nice and high quality.Bobby Parker

I can't exactly recall on your image, but I just increased exposure by a stop. Added two gradient ramps to darken the grass and sky. Changed white balance to bluer colour, added a hand paint yellow bursh to control the lights inside to a warmer colour then about 20% clarity. It takes about a minute to post correct in Lightroom.
Like PG's workflow pretty much:

The correction of the vertical distortion(parallax) is too strong in my opinion and I would take the only dark stone out of the texture. it makes the pattern of the texture very obvious..... I like the detail of the model and the view as well but I have to agree regarding the darkness of the rendering.show me the money!!
