so whats the res and rendertime you are looking for? I got it to merge to a new scene, not sure what is wrong.

I need 3200 x 1800, and I don't care how long, as long as it's clean. I am okay with hitting render at night, and waking up to a finished render. I would be in heaven if I was seeing 2 hour render times.

I have 6 machines, all quad core i7's, and either 12Gb, or 24Gb of ram. I am not short on resources. What am I doing wrong to see 15 hr render times?

I cant get the image to look like your posting earlier, the lighting is really nuclear, from the ceiling lamps has it changed? Also what is your gamma setting?

I don't quite understand, you have tone mapping settings but then you have don't affect color on, I think its incorrect.

that wouldn't skew my render times, would it? I am ticking in now, to see if anything happens. I usually have gamma, in vray, set to 1, and I click Srgb in the VFB

here is one with my typical settings. This is save as 2010, too. This one is using the vray light material, which was my initial intent.

well people generally apply reinhard tone mapping as their settings and don't check sRGB button, since that button is a simple gamma 2.2 curve where as reinhard is a more elaborate one.

isn't 2.2 gamma in vray the same as sRGB in the FB?I usually apply the gamma in post.

are you saying that I should leave the VRAY gamma at 1, and the sRGB at 1, when using reinhard?
