Here is a small project that I am working on. The client wanted a camera view showing the entire building, but I fought against it and came up with this one, which they loved.

    Hi Bobby,

Ill be honest and say I'm really not feeling this camera angle. If you are dead set on a closer view I would definitely ensure that the door is focal; adjust the camera so it sits dead centre to the lower right 'third' of the image. The camera is also a little too low and close which makes the view feel congested. I would pull back and lose the right hand side of the building; pull back enough
to see the whole gable with an uninterrupted band of sky above, and this will help open the composition.

In the end you should have a more 'square on' 3 point perspective POV with the eye drawn to the door.
    cheers,

    Felix

In the last one I like the soft light and basically everything except the ground dirt plan, which looks a little flat or disconnected. Also, are the stone column pattern displacement or modeled? Something about them doesn't look right and their corner edges a very sharp.

I liked the ground, but it could use some depth. The stone is displaced. I agree about the corners. Maybe I can do some create PS'ing

I far prefer that angle Bobby. looking really nice - I'm wondering how it would feel with the same aspect ratio as the first rendering so that we still see the well and some of the building on the left. It feels like a vignette now. Also are your plinths floating a bit?

Yes I would have gone more for something like the 1st view but move the cam just a bit left so you still get the door almost head on, but you can still see the "size" of the building. The 2nd image is good and has a nice feel, but I think it doesnt sell the building "well" hehehe
                  Kind Regards,
