You have some really nice renders there, very moody and atmospheric, I like the use of wide angle lens on the first shot, the integration is well done maybe missing a bit of vertical correction, the view from the lake is really nice, I like this kind of mood and lighting, really calm, you really get the feel and the last one, is a really good idea the stars in a timelapse style, but its missing a car and light streak in the street, that would really give a nice urban touch, the building in the back could use some lighting and maybe a couple of light from lamp post to give a bit more of the warm orange\yellow lighting. Really nice work, just curious, how much time are you given to produce those kind of shots?

    Best regards

I think the first one could do with a bit more life - stuff on the balconies, curtains/blinds, interior bits etc. It's really noticeable on the last one too. May be worth arranging some proxy groups & basic room setups you can drag & drop into your scenes.
      Good renders overall though

        Thanks for the feedback.

KrOno: Thanks. I did attempt to put light streaks in this image to give some motion to it in the foreground but I couldn't get a good result so decided to leave it out for the client versions. There is actually no other lighting in the road from lamp posts (or they weren't shown on the plans/elevations) so the light only comes from inside and the small lights on the outside of the walls...and the bollard lights. Although I do agree some street lights could help give a warmth to the image. Time wise I had ages because the architect and client were so busy on other projects.

cubiclegangster: Thanks for the comments. Yes, I agree. It would have been nice to include some interiors. The budget didn't allow for this unfortunately although it would probably make a big difference if I were to add those features to my portfolio version. Another good idea...making basic room interiors to drop in. I might just do that.

        Cheers

really nice work - great commercial exteriors, and the grades look A1.
Only crit are those crazy penumbras in the pavilion shot.

I had to look up penumbras as I've not heard that before Are you talking about the light on the light shade or maybe the wall lights in the dusk version ?

The dusk version across the pond - before I expand I should say that these are minor points on a beautiful image, and its just personal preference really. Attached is how I would final this piece; softer penumbras, and slightly crushed levels in the environment - i'm not keen on the soft hazy look & relatively flat levels that some people lean towards in their images.

The lights look better but I'm not so keen on the amount of contrast. Good to see a different perspective on things though.
