    You still have the energy to do stuff like that in PS... The only things that I'm doing in PS are color correction and effects, I'm trying to be away of 2d assets as much as possible.

        Keep in mind while you and I might be impressed with digital grass because it was not an option before, people who don't look at CG stuff 24/7 would not share our enthusiasm because it still doesn't look convincing most of the time.. I wouldn't avoid PS if it saved me time and made something look better.

          If it's one view is fine using 2d vegetation but when you have multiple views now you have to match what you put but form different point of view.... I don't like that if you take in consideration what you can find on the market quality wise.

            Now, just to clarify, the grass is 3D. I cute/pasted the mulch around the tree.

              Yes Bobby I know I just took grass as an example.. should have been more clear about it

              Flino: Right, but still many times when someone uses low quality plants on the foreground I wish they'd just photoshopped something instead. We are not quite at the point yet where every plant looks realistic enough to be used close to camera, at least not without DOF
