  • Lounge / diner

Hi guys. I'm working on a Lounge / diner image at the moment. I'm fairly happy with things so far. Anyone got any suggestions on how to improve ? Thanks

Hey that looks good.. if you have any say regarding that air conditioner on the wall, try to get rid of it a classy looking cupboard in its place would be much nicer!

Agree with above. I'd also make the lights bigger and black or the same finish as the chair legs for some contrast (to balance with the floor). Looks nice a sharp! well done

I didn't mention that the air con unit is actually the main feature of the image. The client wanted it to be obvious in a traditional type of room.

The darker lights would work. Cheers for the suggestion.

I feel the image has a weird greenish tint/grade to it which feels unnatural and flat. Other than that I'd say full steam ahead...

I colour graded the image, adding a very slight green to the shadows. Normally I think most of the time I add blue to the shadows and a small amount of yellow to the highlights but thought I'd try something a bit different.

Like. Put something above the couch. (Save the client from what the client wants. ) That wall needs something and not just the AC unit.

yes. it looks real nice. I would try to balance that wall, and the white unit makes it stand out against the darker wall. The way it reads now, is your eye goes straight to the A/C unit, which I would think the idea is to show how it isn't an intrusive thing.

Looks really good overall. Kinda seems a bit too hazy IMO though. Some added contrast and bringing out some detail would add. Rough idea below:

I agree with the haze bit, i would add a bit more contrast. Also, not sure if the floor looks the way it does because of rendering settings or your textures. Right now my guess would be that your bump map might be causing some issues. I'd either kill it completely or tone it down.
