Hi Bobby
Looks clean but I have few comments already. I would drop vegetation in the foreground. It looks flat and uninviting. The sky does not much your sky in the background. I would also add some curtains, interior lights to show some life - human cliparts would help for sure.

Bobby, it looks like you need a break!!!!. As you said before you are super busy but the latest office interior, the fireplace room and this exterior look very CG and what I've seen from you lately was much better in quality.show me the money!!

I agree... the only thing I have been doing differently, is rendering at a much higher resolution, which is making things a lot crisper. I have been optimizing my scenes, and getting much better render times, which allowed me to render larger. other than that, I have been using the same workflow.Bobby Parker

What I see here is that the background(sky) and the reflection on the windows showing the sunset don't work well...one is super blue like in the middle of the day and the other one yellow/orange, the glass seems to have low refraction and I would move the foreground trees, they could frame your composition but subtlety.show me the money!!

The sky and illumination are coming from one HDRI, so it's accurate. I'll spend some time this weekend working on things.Bobby Parker

I'm not bothered by the sky, it makes sense to see the moon rising as the sun is setting in the windows. But overall the image is super sharp, too sharp! And then maybe some type of grading to help pull all the colors of the scene together... or add more atmosphere. Maybe put the foreground elements out of focus? Keep it up!Brendan Coyle | www.brendancoyle.com

I did add interior lights, but I am not seeing it. I agree; the glass is not correct, and it's to sharp.Bobby Parker

try rotating the hdri like 30 or more to the left, it looks like the sun is perpendicular to the facade...and I think the camera has to be a down and the target up.
and more smoke coming out the chimney (it's too subtle and small)Last edited by flino2004; 28-06-2013, 09:34 AM.show me the money!!

Much, much better Bobby. My last comment would be to kill smoke in the chimney (summer) and fire in outdoor fireplace (I do not see the point of showing it without people).
