I've been updating our website and thought I'd post some of the work here.
This is one of a series of images I've done for Esquire magazine for their 'Alternative Oscars' piece they run annually.
Modelling was mostly done in Zbrush, the Oscar figure and the chair were modelled separately then dynameshed into one object. It's lit with a couple of v-ray lights with a softbox texture on them nothing hugely fancy. I'm not 100% happy with the scuffing and scratches on the gold as it's all bit too strong but the deadline was pretty tight for this and we've been too busy for me to tackle a re-do for the portfolio.
