Here, is one I am working on. It's a nice little home. This is a test render, to see if the view is correct. She actually wants an even more straight on, so the final will be a little to the left.

I think I would proceed with both views as generally i find the front-on images look a bit flat - you would know better than the client on this!

I've seen your work on here for years and i think its really nice stuff but wonder how you would go with more modern contemporary designs. It really shocks me seeing some architecture in the US that appears to be quite out-dated and heavily decorated.

Personally i think you do a great job with what you are given to work with!

Thanks! It's not surprising that the nicer the design, the better the illustration.

Here, is how it turned out, at least for now. Again, the view is the architects, which I think is hiding some design issues on the sides.

The lighting is lovely in this. Great work with the foliage as well.

Comments would be on the texture used on the foreground fence, it feels like the texture could maybe be reduced by half as it's quite distracting. Also are the plants floating near the front of the house? Or there's missing soil/mulch underneath?

Otherwise looking great for such a quick turnaround

Yes. The fence texture is to much; I noticed that in post. Also, the bushes were floating, and I cloned some stuff in PS, but the gravel is way to flat. I'll work on that.

Still think the fence is too rough and needs to be dialed down. The render is lovely but somehow the house appears somewhat 'dirty'. Is it supposed to be white? It could be my screen though, I'm working in a dark room so them pretty low...

Here's an update. I spent a little bit more time in post. The result is subtle, but should adds realism. I also rendered out at twice the resolution, which should make in cleaner, and higher settings allowed for less noise.

It looks good but If you are showing a sunny day the proportion should be invert between direct light and shadows.... I will scale down the trees, it's nice to have the tree's shadows but it's too much in my opinion.

My goal, composition wise, was to have the brightest part on the entrance, which is my focal. Since the architect wanted an elevation, showing very little side, I was trying to use light to add depth. But, having said that, I understand your point.
