Me again!

Been doing some work for a tub/shower manufacturer's catalog lately, which makes for great practice with doing quick little interior shots!

Here is a recent one: Blender 2.54-2.56, 64-bit Vray, Photoshop for contrast/color adjustment.

Crits welcome! Slowly getting the hang of Vray, though it still crashes right after finishing the rendering

You should definitely mem-test your RAM and send some scenes to chaosgroup.

I like this kind of harmony,
The only thing I could think of reworking of are the glows at light fixtures.

I also like the way the main colors are playing in overall composition..

I like it as well; very pleasing colors and lighting.

For critique: I agree with the excessive glow on the bathtub and light fixtures might be a little heavy.

Everything feels rather boxy, except the lamp and the vase. No woman would purchase a rectangular bathtub. The room is very boxy as is all the furniture. Maybe if the bathtub and lip were oval, and the inside was curved a little more, it would significantly help the boxy/round balance. But if that is the mfg's exact tub, then I guess you can't change it. Maybe you can bring in other round or softer things to balance, like swap the towel and the book, or bring in a plant.

Finally the baseboard shapes are odd. On the left, there is a 1" gap for dirt to get in. That gap is a different size from the adjacent wall, which is strange. But also having a gap at all is a little odd, at least for american construction. On the corner on the right, the gap extends into a square. It's like a detail that calls attention to itself unnecessarily. When you go into a room, do you want to look at the corners, or look at the center piece?

The towel looks great!

what are your settings for the lamp in the background? is it a twosided material? looks very good!
could you maybe show a wireframe, that its possible to see where the light is sitting?
