Funny! The architect wanted things modeled per the site, but once I showed him the proof, he agrees they should go. Now, as far as the architect, he is pretty good. He has his Masters in Architecture from M.I.T., which is pretty impressive.

However, I was reading a blog post from a guy with his BA in computer graphics. The post was a year-end-review and he mentioned that he wasn't getting his $25 per hour and is goal in 2015 was to stay firm with his rate. I went to his website and his work wasn't good. Point being, a degree doesn't necessarily mean talented and good.

Evolving, but I think it's getting better. I'll be working on the interior soon, so with the inside lite, it might turn out to be a nice image. Hopefully, it'll get some nice exterior lighting fixtures.

HA! Degrees mean nothing. Talent is everything.
There is a guy who came out of Harvard that I know who pretty much changed his name from Joe (last name with held) to Joe (last name with held)-a-Harvard-Graduate. Couldn't design his way out of a paper bag.
Another guy I worked with who came from podunk-no-name-architect-school was absolutely brilliant.
The degree doesn't make the man/woman. Its their innate talent.

I have worked with 100's of architects over the years and I have found that most architects are products of their school. I could almost tell what school they went to without even knowing. This project is moving along nicely and I am getting some detailed info to add to the model. I think it'll turn out nice.

I'll be working on the roadway and background this week. I'm going to attempt UVW Wrapping the road with a custom texture. Any tips?

I'm not feeling the dead trees (architect request), so I am going to do a version with normal trees. But other than that, it's coming along nicely.

I agree, the leafless or dead trees make it look like its been abandoned.

I added some cars, with motion blur, and nice trees. It's rendering out now and I'll post when complete.

Darken that sidewalk and street and you gotta hot image there! Grass looks a little carpet like -- needs some leaves or something.
