Thanks. I just stopped it and darkened the road and sidewalk 15%. The architect requested a light road and sidewalk; both the same color. The job is done so I spent the second half of today tweaking it to my likings. Hopefully, I'm bringing it in the correct direction. I'll post tomorrow morning.

It was hard to see the scale of the building, so I put a person. I also put the person, who is wearing dark clothes, in front of the light brick wall. I am hoping it brings the viewer to the entrance. There was to much foreground, so I added the cars, which have a motion blur, so they don't over power the scene. Anyway, here it is!

Much better, the french windows and darker frames makes a big difference as well. Did you rerender with another hdr or just replace the sky? Lighting seems similar on building but sky is brighter...

I kept the old sky, but I am using a different HDRI. The old sky just got brighter.

So you don't use the sky from the hdr? Can you explain that a little, you have another sky in the environment slot or on a map in the scene?

I'm typically replacing my sky in post as I can't seem to match a good hdri lighting with the background, but it sometimes creates horrible defringing on trees etc.

I was using an sky mapped to a 1/2 sphere, with an VRay light material. Then, I tried an HDRI , which looked good, but I liked the original sky sphere as a background. I kept both; I just turned down the VRay light material.

I tried to use the alpha to paste the background, but like you mentioned, the fringing is a problem.
