  • Ritz carlton residences

Here's a project we're wrapping up for ritz carlton.
Designed by Piero lissoni, it's in an old hospital building overlooking a lake which has remained abandoned for some time. The building and all it's later additions are to be gutted with residential apartments built in up place. You own your apartment, but you get Ritz Carlton quality services and can still call room service for a meal late at night.
Most the images focused on the shared spaces along with some lifestyle shots that we did a photoshoot for. Every apartment is unique so they had to be more general to capture the feel. We did a couple shots of the single family villas being built across the street too for those who wanted a garden with the services.
A film was produced featuring an interview with Piero lissoni. production took place over 3 months, with our ceo and me filming all the b-roll and interview, and I handled all the cg for it (including the helicopter shoot which was fun to film)

You can watch it here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAEfMsJq194
(the client insisted on the services section and didn't have the budget for more cg shots, so we used the stills. Apologies in advance for the pacing change)

We did the website, all print collateral and were the architects/designers behind the sales center.

I'm only posting a few of the 40 or so images we produced because it would be a bit of an overload if I posted all of them. we did 10 aerial images in total, but they're just huge wide shots of miami with the building a tiny spec.

    The main spaces:

The villas: (2 of 5 design options, 20 buildings total)

Yes, these are quite something. I can't even determine what's 3D on some of them. The girl in the yellow bikini in photoshoots, is the background 3D or what is 3D?

The pool guy back there doesn't have a reflection!

These are great renderings, always inspiring work! Thanks for sharing them

I'm getting a kick out of the last image with the guy trimming the bushes. Too funny. I think he needs some protective glasses as well.

The people were shot in a studio - it's only that one with extra photography in the pillow she's leaning on, other than that it's all 3d. If we're going to use people we usually do some sketches to figure out where they're going/what they're doing then pitch to the client hiring models and a space for the day. their options are usually none, or this.
these are the shots that were used in the end:

cheerioboy - Those images were used to explain the kinds of services that you get when buying an apartment, we had some fun coming up with ideas for them... Need your bushes trimmed before friends come over? don't worry, we'll send someone up and add it to your monthly bill!
Cant believe that reflection wasn't caught

Wow, those are great! We don't get many final images on the forum, but this week alone there have been several posts with excellent images

Yeah, apart from the red plant on the table in the last shot and some seagrape leaves pasted over our 3d version in the garden shot. mostly evermotion, none as is out of the box.

Wow - these are jaw dropping! The Garden scene, and sauna look superb to me

I was just going to ask about the vegetation myself - it looks great! If only we could buy some which looked as good straight out of the box!
