This shit of image is only that i make in 13 hours of rendering, what´s wrong with this file?. Only has displacement map in the grass, 7 or 8 Speedtree models and HSV Exponential color mapping, IR preset is High, but with -3 /-1 min-max rate. How can i go faster?.The image has 3500x2800.I am DESPERADO like Antonio Banderas

hi
are you calculating your irr map at that resolution ... -3/ -1 @ 3500x2800 ?
-
try calculating your map at -4 / -2 @ 1750x1400, save the map and then render @ the resolution that you need from the saved map.

hi gitano
if your pic is a still, why not composite the trees in post with
pics of real trees/grass ? your render will significantly be much faster!
try to disable 'generate GI' for small objects in your scene, which won't contribute to the overall lighting anyway (i.e. fences, handrails).

have a look at onyx tree or natfx... much better than speed tree..

Hi gitano_anton
first, like natty said, decrease your gi settings, .-3-1 still is very high for such a big image. use much smaler settings, they still would lead to a good gi solution.
secound, of cours, displacement can give you millions of polygons for your grass. decrease it inside of the displ. modifier settings. this still might lead to a grass impression still good.
do you youse glossys ? this also can make it slower.
We´ve made many equal images for a client, with small houses, very detailed roof, everything in 3d, grass displacement, and with xfrog trees and also onyx trees. What also is difficult especialy for vray is opacity. opacity is calculated with true refractions wich takes lot of time. Try to use real geomitry (onyx tree´s like told for example) when ever you can.
our image still takes lot of time rendering solution of 1800x1200 and 2 Hours of rendertime (settings decreased to the ponit our client just stops seeing artifacts which means, we 3d guys do see them). Try to see your image with the eye of your client, and you may lower seettings once again, if you don´t mind.

yes, i agree with the 'stickers' you mentionned.
but take a look at this pic:
the grass is composited in post (PS).
the time your scenes/projects take for displacement or all other kinda 'maps' like rpc or 2d-trees, i personnaly would invest for composite.
if you know how to avoid or correct the bad-lighting-'thing' on people, i guess you will end up with good results.
well that is what i think...sure this won't work for animations.

So how do you handle them for bigger resolutions- is there a formula? or are there any hints for this?
can you give some info?
There's lot's of info about this, and about this 'formula'
