Are your models all mesh models or do you work in nurbs as well?val valgardson

How do you deal with that kind of organic detail to nurbs? Is it Scupt, retopo, Some version of t-spline? or is there a better solution? I ask as I get asked for organic nurbs files and that is my basic flow but details are lost.val valgardson

Hmm. When I'm tasked with a sculpt that is industrial in nature, I don't have any problem using NURBs, but for any organic, character based, detailed sculpt - it's polygons all the way for me, since I'm responsible for the design of the toy. If, during manufacturing, a NURB-based reconstruction is required, say for electronics, or complex tooling, then there's another team who will take over from me, and do the reconstruction, by hand, in SolidWorks. Occasionally we can use an "automated" process, but that can get bogged down and only works with sub-divided polygon based geometry, and can't handle the really detailed stuff from ZBrush.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
