I tried that once, but didn't follow through. if I have some down time I'll look deeper.

Why not just use a model of well textured grass, with forest pro? best of both worlds. it's the forest preset models that aren't good - you can replace them with something from evermotion or icube, or make a blade of grass yourself easily enough.

Thanks. Something happened with the street view. I lost color about 1/2 way down. I didn't notice until I was done and I am not sure if happened in post. The odd thing is the background is on a plane in MAX and that has color. Shhhh... maybe nobody will notice.

looking good.. i would say the street view people could do with some work, they are all in similar poses, and particularly the guy on the right looks like a zombie. plus there appears to be some white fringing around him.

id like to see more streetlight backwash onto the buildings.. it would drop them into the image better and also make them more visible. your background is a long exposure, very bright, but your foreground is very gloomy.

I did an image match, in PS, on the building. The building is gray and white, so maybe that's why it is gloomy. I'll see if I can add some orange to the building where the street lights are at.

Some auto tweaks. it looked good on my Thunderbolt, but dark, like you said, on my workstation monitor.

The tops of the buildings are too light and white, there's too much light getting into the base overall. check out the white walls of the house next door
