Hehe, I hope you don't reach the world finals until we port it to Maya I'll bump the thread when it's done

    Cheers!

Is there a way to have liquids splashing off the main liquid shape like how a tornado would behave?

you mean to produce a funnel-like shape?

Yes and have the entire liquid body dripping. I'm trying to create a splashing tornado shape around an object.

what if you make the spline like a spiral?

I can make it spiral, that's easy. The hard part is creating the splashing look like in the picture I posted. Right now it just looks like a tube.

You have to reduce the Influence, which is the balance between path following and letting the liquid do its thing. Also, if the tube shape bothers you, you need to also reduce the Rotation speed.

                  Cheers!

I love how the liquids are forming around the Phoenix logo and the 3.0 logo in the new video. Is there a tutorial or scene available for that?

I have an old test scene I did when the body force was first introduced to the nightlies. The scene is on there to download if you want to see how its generally done Obviously it is fairly old but I think the same idea will apply to the more polished version 3

Also a simplified version of the scene from the video will come with the install - now the samples go into the 3ds max folder, in the /scenes/PhoenixFD/samples directory.
