I like the using of DOF as I rarely use it in my interior projects .
Just a small thing about the ceiling I think the bump scale is a bit too big
and for these splotches on the dark areas , additional weak light could help to clean it up or u can go with the BF route

The interior designer insisted on a wide angle lens. I think this one will not be wide enough for her, because it doesn't show everything she is doing, but any wider looks awful.

To get a clean render, this bad boy took 18 hours, and I don't have a clue why. Anything other than universal had issues. Good grief!

I looked at it as a thumb and it was a little dark, so I lightened it up.

It's a really tall space, I like that you are capturing it quite well but I would use a "tilt-shift" lens and keep those vertical lines straight and cut a bit away from the floor as it is the least interesting thing to look at which is currently taking up about 25% of your image space.
