I like. Very lush. Where are all the plants from? I am always collecting plants and am looking for more.

Nice work, what was the render time with that beast of a CPU?

I think maybe there could be a little more contrast with the sun + sky but that is just me. Very clean image.

          Thanks

They're from a variety of sources - mainly Evermotion, some Laubwerk, the Alliums are xFrog. Vizpark for the ones in pots

            Cheers

I agree with you regarding the sky - I just ran out of time

Render time (1664px longest edge) was exactly 1hour.

I can't tell if that's comped over a background jpeg or if it's all cg. Nice job.

                  Wow thanks JC

Only the sky, horizon trees and that roof are the backplate - all else is CG.

The planting is nice, but this is crying out for some more dramitic lighting to bring the scene alive

With hindsight I agree - I got bogged down with replicating the image I was given.

Do you have anything to show as an example for the dramatic lighting you are thinking of ?

I played a bit with it in photoshop to give a bit more tonal contrast.

Increased my ram this week to 64Gb (could see in Task Manager I was maxed out on this scene) - render time reduced to 48mins (and at a slower OC, from previous 4200mhz)......

I don't have anything to hand. But I'd start with lowering the sun, and maybe a little fog to add to the atmosphere..

Looks really nice. How about desaturating it some? For that authentic UK summer atmosphere!
