This is a small job I did. The main thing was I was to make the model so the client could look at the thing in 3D. The image was secondary so I could do basically what I wanted. Comment are welcome

Nice job. Some stuff inside and glass reflections would do a lot for the image. Nice job on all the wood.

I agree.. reflection will add more realism to the image.

Interesting, I had originally had a more pronounced reflection on the glass and had an interior light, the image was my first pass. But after fooling with the image it somehow dropped away as I became focused on other things. I think I need to revisit it. thanks.

Nice! Curtains or blinds and you'll be golden.

Are you saying the last image is better than the first or are you just talking about the lighted interior? The black holes that are the windows is something I was thinking about for what it seems like 3 discussions. The arch viz image, the recreation of the photograph and the personal visual experience. When I stand outside of my house and look at windows in houses during the day I see black holes. An arch-viz image has a set of conventions to make the image inviting (black holes are a little foreboding) so it needs adjusting so I'm always of two minds when I do things more for my own interests.

I like the second one better. Standing that close you should see something inside. I usually layer my reflection pass, in Photoshop, until it looks correct.

No I don't mind at all, I understand your comment, I was and am just trying to make up my mind on things, I have done a number of iterations, the last image was the first and the first image was the last. I use Autodesk Composite to do my post work (I prefer it over photoshop). Thanks for your input.

A follow up render of the kitchen in this cabin. Just fooling with render elements. The only things I didn't make are the two plants.

                      cheers
