the client wanted some new dynamic images from a model that was used for a photo match a few months ago. I had to come up with an environment.
Only about a day time to spit out images for a magazine publication.

    I hope you enjoy them.

              Glad you like the images.
And, yes, connections are the main thing to run a business.
No dream scape involved here, just a distance fog set to a light brown color. The choise of colors was automatic. The building is brown brick, metailic and glass, so with a blue sky, the main color would be brown and blue. Keeping the rest in the same hue and using a Marlin sky with some heavy clouds in blue tones adds to that.
The environment was lossely based on a very preliminary urban design for that area. I just kept in mind the typical German harbour look (location is Amsterdam though, but you never know where this design will turn up). The top floor of the highest tower is thought to house a harbour museum and somebody in the meeting mentioned a submarine. Then I came across a nice Blimp at www.turbosquid.com and I had my basic themes set-up.
The architecture was done by www.butzelaarvanson.nl. They're have a publication in the june issue of the Italian magazine L'Arca (visuals done by me). The architecture firm want to convince L'Arca to publish some more of their work in the August issue.
