    Hi community,
    We decided to do personal project, with aim to test Real Displacement Textures, and other plugins on fairly simple scene.
    We really liked this Architectural masterpiece, and tried to create images close to real site. Tried to stay away from typical commercial projects.
    Would be happy to have your feedback!
    As usual Vray, 3ds max, Forest Pack and Real Displacement Textures!

      Nice images. How did you find the real textures? Interested in trying them out, but looking at the size I would expect quiet a bit of tiling when doing large areas, like the paving ones they have released. Actually, reminds me I need to download the samples to test them out.

        The Real Texture website is a little hard to see what you'll be getting. As far as I know, it is a scan of a 2X2 piece of ground, which will only work if you are rendering a 2X2 piece of ground .

          Thanks!
          Indeed textures are scans of small areas. ( around 3 m ). So using them alone makes the tiling effect obvious. You can always duplicate same object, delete some polygons, change the "Z" position, if it is a terrain, use another texture applied to it.This helps making the patches less noticeable.
          Scatter with stones, one with grasses, and tiling is completely gone.
