My contract does stipulate that, but I usually don't bill anything more than the original quote. For this client, if I ever decide to work with them again, I will charge for every change. if they fuss, they can just move onto someone else.

I would always charge changes or variation fees as I call them (changes that occur on their behalf not my renders). If you don't, this situation always happens and it's unfair to yourself to be working so hard for a problem on their end.
