Either that or a good interview about what he's learned over the years with some early renders through the various stages of development. It'd be really instructional for other archvis folks!

These are coming along. The back still isn't what I want. The architect wanted the back to look more grandiose, so I lowered the camera; I am not sure it worked.

I tried that on an earlier version and he didn't like them. He said that mansions have clean lawns

Your next thing to look at is haze / distance fog for your wider shots like. start having a play with a very faint amount of the vray atmosphere fog or alternatively using your depth pass to lift your black levels on the further away stuff and tint it towards whatever your sky colour is.

I used to use my zdepth for that but stopped. I have never used fog; would that be easier and more acurrate?

i always get better control when using the zdepth pass plus its alot faster

Vray fog would work very nice for these shots. I love how certain parts show more fog with the sun shining through trees. You dont get that with the zdepth, although its easy enough to fake in psd.

                              Really nice set of images!
Definitely fog would add to the realism of the images.
Trees size is ok, but leaves feel kind of big next to this pretty big mansion.
Not really sure if depth of field in Pool view works out, but it is a matter of preference.
Love the lawn - is it 3d?

How do you get those hedges looking so nice ? (I mean, non-uniform).
