    ok, my question is about reflection/refraction, i tried changing IOR but no luck.

    I see an image but no question. try either lowering your ior or adjusting your geometry to be thinner on your glass.

        to use glass properly you need 2 offset surfaces, i assume, you use 1 surface. if you use 1 you have to change IOR to 1.

            or add a shell modifier, i think the results would be better

              i usually use IOR of about 1.001

                That's a good point Elf, since it basically cancels itself out being two parallel surfaces of the glass. Only thing is that you wouldn't get the proper distortions sideways through the convex parts of the windows if you're looking for that much detail.
