You might tweak the sun angle just a bit on the rear view. The plane facing the camera is the same brightness as the perpendicular plane, so it looks like one continuous plane instead of a hard corner. More potted plants would definitely help. Maybe some teak furniture around the pool, vibrant throw pillow fabrics - anything to add more color.

A little frustrating, but we went from "Almost magic the way you’ve captured the essence and majority of detail for this project…want thanks!” to "Awful!" Two different opinions on the same project. This is why my contract says that I take direction from one party and one party only.

The ones who complain about price are always the most difficult! Keep reminding me of this, please!

They thought it was extremely important to get the pool house in the shot. I said, what pool house? It's the two doors under the stairs! Personally, I thought that was the pool equipment.

I got an email, from some new person with a list of changes and I went ballistic. Finally, the design-builder told me to ignore everyone and just take his lead. I explained that he didn't sign the deposit or the contract; he said that the other girls have no clue what they are talking about. Here are some final changes.

Nice images as always! I hope you get payed extra when your clients change their minds all the time!? Its impossible to work with a fixed price if the client has the right to change everything from the architecture to the views etc half way through.

A question about your grass (which is awesome!) - I know the technique you use with the lighting-pass over a photo in PS, but my results are not as good as yours. Do you use your own photos of grass for this? Or have you bought them somewhere?

I'll be recording something on my grass workflow, since I am asked often. I have never charged extra for changes. I tend to price myself where that all averages out. Now, having said that I do threaten to charge more when they start getting ridiculous.

The back view would be a better at twilight with the interiors glowing and possibly the camera pushed in so the pool occupies most of foreground and has the lights from the interior shimmering off the water. Though the camera aleady looks like it might be a wide angle so pushing in may not look good as you would have to go even wider than what you are already using.

Grass looks great. Looking forward to the workflow.

The real estate agent did ask for a night shot, but I told her that I didn't quote a night shot, so I would have to charge her for that. She has already asked for several other views for free; she is really good at asking for things.

Asking for fee stuff is a little unprofessional, I think. When you give in on a lower price and then they keep asking for more free stuff, it gets annoying.

While doing an image search for a mood board I came across this. The architecture is so similar to your project, even the camera angle is the same. Reminds me of the old saying "everything that can be invented has been invented." Nice job in the final images BTW.
