This is a college dorm. I don't know, but the images are yawners, especially the interiors. The exteriors, they wanted a Fall feel, so I am okay with those.

I added a warming filter, which helps. I would update the images, but uploading one at a time is a pain!

I could not get these to render clean, in V-Ray, in anything less than an hour+ per view. About mid-day I had to jump ship and use Corona, which rendered them out in about 8 minutes per view. I didn't do anything except convert the V-Ray scene using the V-Ray to Corona script. These are only 1/2 resolution, which is why the 1 1/2 hour render times were freaking me out. Once approved, I'll be rendering them out in 4K.

I would absolutely love to know why and how Corona is able to crunch through these images in a fraction of the time. If it is something I am doing, please let me know. I could post both MAX scenes with all the assets. Litteraly, I simply converted the scene using the Corona script.

The corona ones look way more realistic than the vray ones do! Great job!

            Lovely images, Bobby,

People are 3d, aren't they? Which scanned ones are these?

People are 3D Scans, which I got from several places.

I was majorly surprised with Corona. If I let them bake for 1/2 hour at a higher resolution, I think that they might turn out good. These are 1920X1080 and they baked for 4-8 minutes.

How can they look more realistic in Corona, just by converting the scene? Are they applying some form of tone mapping or post processing?

I assume Vray and Corona calculate lights in a similar way?

Wel, I didn't say they look more realistic. But yes, they have some tone mapping sliders in the frame buffer.

Well, to begin with it sounds as if you pulled some mapping sliders, which would explain why they look different.

I sort of miss the good old Magic Bullet Looks, haven't found any good alternative to it.

The sliders reminded me very much of Magic Bullet.
