This is the setting I have for the material... Also antialiasing is at Fixed rate.. I dont think it should be from it.. because I had this setting before and still it gave me a nice glass look....
I tried the same scene by playing with the AA and doing a trial and error theme....
Fixed AA: 15 seconds to render (not too bad for render time... bad result)
Simple 2 level: render time 50 seconds (same render quality too much time to render)
Adaptive: min 3 max 4: 8 mins
then just to try the render time I changed it to:
Adaptive: min 3 max 8: 21 min
The interesting thing is that this scene is only a test render where everything is hidden ..
I cant even imagine the time it would spend if I had everything in the image...
My question is: .. is there something wrong with the glass material I downloaded?? Cuz this doesnt seem right....
There is something wrong with your AA settings
Try -1, 3 for Adaptive
The subdivs are way too low in your material. I wouldn't go below 6 and no higher than 12 for glass. BTW, looks more like plastic with that much fog too.
