  • The step - exterior design & visualization

"The Step" is project that I did, as an architectural visualizer, to explore my design skills, meanwhile using the opportunity to enhance my visualization skills.

The project is about a house for a couple amidst the forest. It is about the transparency in a relationship between a couple that I tried to bring into this living space I designed; at the same time personal spaces as individuals! And about the balance between nature and man!

The detail, texturing and modelling is perfect but the lighting is not very dramatic. It is quite flat but other than that excellent work.

Amazing detail - and great article, thank you so much for the link.

On that link though, my only comment is that the scale doesn't look right to my eyes. As soon as I saw the first image with the Aston Martin car in (a car I know well !), the building scale looked completely off to me. That is my only critical comment (sorry !)

Thank you so much, your feedback means a lot to me! Yes I will work on it! I am looking at coming up with a part 02 covering the interiors in detail at the time I should be able to include a few dramatic views w.r.t lighting and possibly a night shot of the exteriors. Thanks once again!

        Cheers!

            Thank you gadzooks!

In the two images I have presented here, the background trees at the far behind is an background image that I matched with my render. The trees at the side and terrace of the building I purchased from 3D Sky.For clarity I am attaching a clay render of the images to understand the 3D part alone. You can see the green area, that's where the background image came.

If it is about the trees you saw in the other renders [seen at my Behance page]. I used Mudbox to completely re-model & re-texture some trees I had in my library, made 5-6 variations and used them. Attached is a pool view of the same project, in which trees re modeled in Mubbox are seen at background, see clay render also.

            Hope it helps!

            Thank you once again!

              Thank you JezUK!

I am so happy you read the article and thanks for your feedback!

Even though I had checked the car before posting here but it maybe it is still not correct like you said, and I should have checked the actual dimensions again to make sure lazy me! . So it should have been smaller I guess? Please let me know!
I really welcome your critique! Thanks you!
