looking nice (Y)
it is only that orange lines on the ground doenstt look blending well with the wet asphalt ..are those line part of the texture or simple geometry ?
I've read that you photoshop the grass in the image using rawlighting and mask for the ground but when I have tried it I couldn't get seamless result .any hint for this pls ?
Edit : here is my try :
I had to draw some light and shadow using a brush but still far from perfect
sorry to hijack the thread but this thing I wanted to ask you about for long timeLast edited by M.Max; 22-04-2017, 09:45 AM.-------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the video Bobby - great to learn how you make your grass look so great.
So actually, you're really only using FPP and PSD really for just creating a grass mask - and then putting in an actual photo of real grass into that mask in photoshop and overlaying a VRay lighting layer on top to add the shadows on the grass photo
Nice workflow.
Can I ask ........
How do you get those nice looking wet patches on your roads - I've always wondered how you did that (maybe a video for that too ).Jez

Yep! Forest Pack Pro to get the nice edges and PSD-Manager to get the masking. You can do the same thing without the plugins, but it helps make it easy.

Thanks for sharing your technique. Just want to mention a small Photoshop trick for working with psd-manager and many layers. If you want to load a selection for a specific object/material-id/scene layer... just right click on your image. Photoshop will show you a popup menu with just those layers that have content in them at this pixel (so just those that aren't transparent). So you will see a list of all the masks that contain that pixel. So no matter how many layers you have or if you named them nicely you can quickly find your layer and load the selection. That is the reason that in psd-manager 4 the masking layers are now visible by default, because even if you have your image on top of them you can easily find your mask.

Yes, I do that once in awhile, which is handy for messy layers.
